Songs on the Moonwalker EP touch on themes of isolation, regret and questions around death and immortality. With the help of producer Shawn Cole (Bend Sinister, You Say Party, Wintermitts) and mixer Paul Boechler (Treelines, Sex With Strangers) as well as a host of Vancouver musicians, the tracks have been beautifully rendered, subtly orchestrated and arranged using acoustic guitars, synthesizers, trumpet, and French horn. Tariq is a Juno nominated songwriter and a member of the six-piece Vancouver band, Brasstronaut.
