TANGIERS, the newest members of the Sonic Unyon roster, have completed their debut full length and release dates have been set. The album, which will be titled Hot New Spirits, was recorded at Toronto' Chemical Sound studio in December 2002. Sharing singing duties between Reichmann, Didrichsons and Sayce, the band offers up thirteen original compositions that are well crafted, energetic and concise. In fact, none of the tracks are longer than three minutes. With this recording, TANGIERS has become an inspired full out rock threat, with some of the local Toronto press hailing them as one of the best new bands in Canada and already comparing them to being like a post-punk Rolling Stones. See for yourself when Hot New Spirits is released on March 4th in Canada and March 18th in both the USA and England.
