biographical info

In a world where people don’t return calls, this barbarous threesome will have you sitting by the phone. Their debut album “Gold Star” (2001) is full of flatulent bass lines and pounding, “anyone-got-an-Advil” drums, topped with a buffet of searing guitars. TNB brandishes a cunning blend of top-notch musicianship and show-stopping buffoonery. In October 2001 they shared the bill with David Usher and Finger Eleven in St. John’s, NF at Mile One Stadium (the site of the 2002 Juno Awards). In the summer of 2001 they garnered rave reviews for their gigs in Halifax, NS and a tour of Canada is in the works for Spring 2002. “Gold Star” is enjoying radio play across the country and the band received a MIANL nomination for best alternative artist. Reverend Cornbread, Orthopeedick Dave and Professa Peebles tell it like it is. And how is it? Loud and proud, flappin’ it inya face. These puckish youngsters are taking it to new heights; you oughta come along for the ride.
