After the demise in 1997 of Zolty Cracker and knock-down-ginger, singer/guitarist/bassist Annie Wilkinson found herself with a armful of songs, & by the summer of 1998 formed Thermos.
Their love of music keeps them involved in numerous projects which only serves the solidity of their live performances. Guitarist Matt Caruso has also been seen fronting his own group The Beekeepers. Drummer Barry Mirochnick plays with Veda Hille & fronts his own group Various Athletes.Bassist Joelle Baird can be found in The Great Outdoors. And Annie Wilkinson, when not playing bass Various Athletes or in the all-women jazz/noise/pop improv group Cunt, divides her time between filling in for every absent bassist, composing soundtrack music for the internet & single-handedly publishing an online magazine for women in the arts, www.sugarbushmagazine.com.
