biographical info
The Stormalongs began like a mythical tale: they came from deep within the woods, and learned to forge their art from pure inspiration. Years later, these talented young men convened in the urban sprawl and laid their fire down. One can imagine waves through a forest of concrete upon hearing the Stormalongs for the first time; the sound of human thunder slamming against the walls of modern life.

…the whole thing is a dichotomy of the driving new-wave punk of Joy Division and the slow heavy rock of the early ’90s complete with the full nasal voice that rides the waves like Jon Auer. And then you conclude that it is something entirely its own. -VUE Weekly
