biographical info

The Sin-Tones are a Toronto based trio that play surf, rockabilly and garage lounge. Their first CD “The Sin-Tones” was recorded live in 4 hours. It was released through pop culture icons Gutter Press and charted very well on Canadian college radio. The CD features the first ever surf version of Gordon Lightfoot’s “The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald”. In the fall, The Sin-Tones are releasing their second CD “Surf-o-Ghetti!”, which includes more of the same great surfabilly RNR as well as Ennio Morricone inspired instrumentals. Watch for The Sin-Tones exciting new video “(Theme from) Chick Boat”, the lead off single. Following the release of “ Surf-o-Ghetti!”, The Sin-Tones will be touring Canada and Europe. The Sin-Tones live shows mash together surf instro classics, movie and TV themes, western swing and garage lounge. Their shows are energetic, irreverent and a hell of a lot of fun.
