biographical info

The group formed in toronto two-ish years ago when singer Paul Linklater travelled to that city by train to sublet Dave Bidini's house for a summer while the rheos guitarist was in Italy. Bass player Douglas Friesen was an accquaintance of Linklater's from university who came to the city that same summer with aims of homesteading and jamming in earnest "on the scene". They found themselves encountering drummer Don Kerr (rheos, ron sexsmith) in social situations and in jams with Pete Elkas and Ben Gunning...by late winter, plans had been initiated to record some of Linklater's latest songs at the Gas Station. Kerr lured out reluctant multi-whiz Devon Armstrong from Monteal to help with tracking, using his free apartment as bait. The group released All Different on Feb 11 2004 and have been gigging on it since . FIN
