biographical info
The Glengarry Bhoys hail from Glengarry, Ontario. Their live show is a fluent blend of rousing traditional tunes and stirring original songs. They have garnered much praise in the U.S. A. and are popular headliners all over North America.
Having quietly sold over 180 000 copies of their records, they are a testament to the success of constant touring and performing live to enthousiastic crowds.
Following up their spectacularly selling last six albums, this new album combines the best of the old and the new. Mill Sessions displays the influences of the Musical heritage of Glengarry, Canada - the mixture of French Canadian and traditional Scottish is a signature characteristic of the region they call home. In addition, the heartfelt, inspired songwriting by Graham Wright (Over the Mountain, Let it Rain - Glengarry Bhoys) and Phil Galdston (Save the Best for Last -Vanessa Williams, Fly - Celine Dion ) adds a contemporary feel to the time-honoured instrumentation. The stunning vocals from Wright, Miranda Mulholland (Barrage) and Zig Leroux mixed with the fluent piping, virtuoso fiddling and thrilling percussion makes this an amazing crossover success.
The album was produced by the celtic/pop legend, Stuart Cameron
(Amanda Marshall, Ashley MacIsaac, Shaye)
