biographical info

Together since August '99, Montreal's The Frenetics have been hitting clubs, halls and bars across north america with their mix of 70's British punk and 90's American indie rock. They have shared the stage with such acts as The Weakerthans, The Gossip, Moneen, The Delta 72, Ted Leo & The Pharmacists, The Greg MacPherson Band and many others. Their current line-up included Malcolm Bauld (guitar/voice), Alex Seliger (bass) and Anne Gauthier (drums). After releasing the "scenery" e.p. on grenadine in '99, The Frenetics released "These Mistakes Took Years of Practice" on Union 2112 in September. After some success on the Canadian college charts, the release of two videos, and touring all over north america for the last two years The Frenetics plan to record a follow-up full length in december.
