Satidfying the urge for less distortion and more ambience, The Butterfly Effect was formed by the co-founders of water who'd spin. Playing as many bars as possible around the maritimes, they have developed into a quintet with strong ambience and a melodrone sway. Their debut CD "Cycle One" was released in 2002.
