biographical info
The Ault Sisters, ranging in age from 11 to 15 years old, are an exciting new vocal trio from Mississauga. All three sisters – Amanda, Alicia and Alanna - are classically trained and accomplished young soloists in their own right, and when combined, their voices soar in exquisite harmony. They have won many awards at local music festivals, and have performed at the Mississauga Living Arts Centre’s Hammerson Hall and RBC Theatres, the CNE Bandshell, and Theatre Aquarius.
Recent performances by The Ault Sisters include appearances at the “Dancers for Cancer” 2004, 2005 and 2006 Benefit Concerts held at Mississauga’s Living Arts Centre. They appeared at the Symphonyx Steel Orchestra 2006 Fundraiser, the 2006 Canada Day Celebration at the Mississauga Living Arts Centre’s Hammerson Hall, the 2006 Smile China Gala, the 2006 Scarborough Hospital Mid-Autumn Ball, and the 2006 CICS 12th Annual Artsz Day Gala Dinner. On November 8th, 2006, they put on “The Ault Sisters In Concert” to a sold-out audience at the Mississauga Living Arts Centre’s RBC Theatre.
Amanda and Alicia are members of the Senior Voice Programme of the Young Artists Performance Academy of the Glenn Gould School in Toronto, where they have had the opportunity to work with such distinguished artists as Marshall Pynkowski of Opera Atelier and Stuart Hamilton.
Their first CD, Christmas Feelings, was released on September 27, 2006.
