biographical info
Named after the area of Toronto, The Annex is a self-described "art-rock-fart-pop" band. Growing up in Lytton Park in Toronto, Andrew Campion had an itch to make music that would reflect the greatness of his surrounding city. Any attempts to do this during high-school years were all generally agreed to be failed attempts. When Campion started to collaborate with electronic musician extraordinaire, Andrew Hallisey, good music started being made. It is from this era that the first tracks originate from and this era that saw the seeds being laid for up and comer, Siktransit. Years have passed, we have matured, and we now find ourselves at this spot. It is a nice spot with a good view. The air is fresh, and the sun shines brightly. All that is left is to step through the garden gate into the orchard, where the sun falls on the ground in patches. So what does this mean? Absolutely nothing, but its a nice picture.
