Somewhere between lust and destiny, five artists met each other in Toronto in 2004. The planets aligned, but there was no moon, so the music was dark and naked. The 13th was deliberate, not just as a band name, but as a reflection of the notion that their collective creative could be outside the traditional restrictions of popular music and still be successful. While some people are paralyzed by their superstition around the number 13, this band embraces possibility.
