biographical info
Emerging from Canada's West Coast, arena rockers Ten2Nine deliver an epic sound with an explosive balance of fire and passion. The band's multi-award winning debut album X-II-IX is a collection of masterful and infectious rock songs.
Led by the brilliant vocals of Pat Brown and distinctive songwriting from Brown and guitarist Randall Robinson, Ten2Nine's sound is completed by the power and edge from lead guitarist Jim LeGuilloux, keyboardist Vtyas Synkevicius, bassist Neville Bowman and drummer Scott Gamble.
In summer 2005 Ten2Nine swept the Okanagan Scorpion Music Awards winning in eight categories including: Album of the Year (X-II-IX), Song of The Year (Don't Want That Anymore), Male Performer of the Year (Pat Brown), Musician of the Year (Scott Gamble) and Group of the Year! A review in the February 2006 issue of BURRN!, Japan's biggest hard-rock magazine, rated X-II-IX among the top 7 imports and has introduced Ten2Nine to millions of new fans overseas.
From day one X-II-IX has created a buzz amongst fans, critics and industry professionals alike. The fan favorite Are We There Yet? - the third song from X-II-IX to receive airplay - along with Don't Want That Anymore and the 2004 Scorpion Song of the Year Smoke In The Light are continuing to gain new adds on commercial, college, satellite and Internet radio.
Two of the tracks on this 10-song CD - Don't Want That Anymore and Blue Again - were produced by P.C.M.I.A. Producer of the Year recipient Dale Penner whose credits include Nickelback, Mathew Good, Econoline Crush and Holly McNarland, amongst others. The remainder of the songs on X-II-IX were produced by long-time collaborator Jim LeGuilloux, who took home Producer of the Year honors at the Scorpion's for his contributions to the album.
