•Sule (Soulay) was born, raised and is based in Montreal and began to play music at a young age. Piano was the first instrument he chose, but he soon moved on to the guitar, which would remain his main instrument to this day.
•An alumnus of Vanier College and Concordia University's music departments, where he received honours, Sule began his professional career at the age of 20. He founded and fronted his own band called Tribal Groove, sang and played guitar with the Montreal Jubilation Gospel Choir, all while attending these schools. His compositions and production can be heard on Tribal Groove's independently released EP entitled Party at the Sun. During this period, he also had the opportunity to open up for Celine Dion, performing the solo Oh Mary Don't You Weep with the Montreal Jubilation Gospel Choir.
•Sule's been blessed with the experience obtained from working on a lot of different projects. He has played guitar on Bet-e and Steph's (Universal) self titled album and performing with the Jazz group Atomic Cocktail. He also got the chance to travel on the road with Tribal Groove playing venues in New York and Las Vegas and tour as the lead guitarist for the renowned Canadian pop group Sky (EM/). He accompanied French R&B singer Corneille (Wagram) on his promotional tour of France. Since the tour ended, Sule has been concentrating on his personal career goals.
•A singer and songwriter, Sule produces and writes music for other artists and lends his live talents to musicians in the industry including internationally known French R&B singer Corneille and One Ton (Warner). Recently, Sule's composition "Song For Lea" was released on the Cafe Melies CD compilation Vo!. 1, and was awarded the Black Theatre Workshop's "Gloria Mitchell-Aleong" award for excellence in the arts which he was honoured to accept at their annual gala. More recently Sule has been abroad playing at the Armstrong night club in Morocco, one of Casablanca's more prestigious clubs, and supporting French R&B singer Gage (Wagram) on his eastern Canadian tour.
