biographical info
the story....
St. Joe's Mission was a run down 3 story red brick house with a belly full of shit talkers, gamblers and unemployed enthusiasts. Its residents endured a 4 hour ear pounding twice a week by four wanna be musicians. Its gutted living room gave birth to St. Joe's Mission--the band.
5 years have since passed....
Their 2005 EP "Yellow and Black" and 2006 follow up EP "Yellow and Blacker" under their former name Doneypunch esablished them as one of Canada's noteworthy independent bands.
in 2006, they were honoued with a juicy development deal with NEWCAP Media, which fueled the bands quest to make more music and move more people.
That was then...This is now....
In 2008 the band realized that a change was in order. They returned to the studio with a new name to drop their firsdt full length album. With help from producer Russ Mackay, St. Joe's Mission made a killer Record.
Currently the band can be found on tour throughout Canada and the self titled album, "St. Joe's Mission" is available in stores and online everywhere.
