biographical info
“When I began making video/film art, I did my own sound design and composed the soundtracks using DAT tapes of contained field recordings. Eventually I broke down and bought an EMU ESI-32, a Doepfer Regelwerk, a Minidisc and an FX unit, and off I went. My setup has been in constant evolution ever since.
I was seven years old when I began cultivating sounds with
two ghetto blasters and a dinky microphone, making pseudo- commercials. I eventually became more and more fascinated by the incidental properties of sound and the strange soundscapes resulting from their interaction.
The part I like most about making music is the solitude of being undisturbed. It’s just me and my favourite sounds.”
