biographical info

hailing from saskatoon  SK, Shooting Guns are carving out new territory between Sabbath-styled riffery(eg. Electric Wizard, Black Mountain, Sleep) and heavy pulse-ridden tone sculpting(Neu!,Circle, Wooden Shjips).  They are hard at work fortifying the heavy end of the psychedelic spectrum with reverb and delay soaked guitar centered songs driven by savage drumming and groove locked bass. Features of analog synth rumble below and soar above the pinicle of thier drop D minor palette. Hypnotic patterns evolve over time in mutating timbres and subtly shifted grooves, but the core of the songs remain dead simple, and the spinal cords of the audience nod in slave- like accordance.   Equal in their fans as metalhead, neanderthals and terrified nerds.
