Say Fire has that spark. The band has won the hearts of audiences in St. John’s and beyond with their brand of earnest pop-rock songs slathered in haunting female vocals. The Newfoundland Herald called them one of 2011’s bands to watch for. Since forming in 2009, Say Fire has performed with the likes of Sherman Downey and the Ambiguous case, Yukon Blonde and Repartee. The follow-up to Say Fire’s three-song demo – a professionally recorded seven-inch single – is due out in the light of spring.
