What a Christmas! Sally spent the month in a non-stop parade of performing. Highlights included their first Headlining show, a rockin party on a boat for all the under-agers and brining in the new year for the crowd at CBTG'S in St.John's.
Many nights were spent past 5 am trying to record a demo that would kinda-maybe-sorta- hopefully sound like what's in our heads. Recording is hard in your guitar players basement when the only money you have goes towards Tim's coffees..Not to mention what songs to choose, a lot of the favorites got the cut due to the lack of time and dollar bills.. where's summer when you need it !?
Now Anna goes back to Toronto to finish her first year of University and Chloe sludges through the last leg of Grade 12, however school is looking like a much needed break.
Playing shows will begin again in April and the demo will be out as soon as the girls can agree on a design. ha!
Until then we'll think about Dogs on roofs, 18th century shipwrecks, Cranberry juice, Asian
textiles, LOLing, cucumber sandwiches, band halls, dinosaur chases and here's hoping 2008 is a continuation of the beautiful feast the circus clowns cooked up for us all !
"Up up she jumped high unto his shoulders, little girls always wish that they were older
But maybe you should settle down
Yeah take a look before you leave this town!"
