biographical info

Original Unfiltered Rock And Roll.

Thin Lizzy. AC/DC. Motorhead. The Hellacopters. Turbonegro. Van Halen. Black Sabbath. Backyard Babies. Guns N’ Roses. Fu Manchu. Brant Bjork. The Rolling Stones. All of these names make, have made, or continue to make rock and roll that is as timeless as it is classic, and as dangerous as it is beautiful.

It is this space that Saigon Hookers occupies as effortlessly as the above names. Loud, aggressive duelling guitars awash in melody, three part vocal harmonies delivered straight from the balls, a rhythm section rumbling like a freight train, all working together in worship of their one king, the almighty song.

Formed in 2005, Saigon Hookers have honed their craft through relentless touring, endless writing, some significant line-up changes and an undying devotion to the stage, the studio, the stereo, the sheets and the (not so) occasional shot... of Jagermeigster of course!

The boys are currently putting the finishing touches on the follow up to 2008’s Kings Of Regret, and plan to release it before summer kicks in. They're showcasing some of the new material live as we speak so listen for it at their shows. The new LP will be calledTruth, No Reason, and according to anybody who's heard any of it, it's a definitive step up and a step out. In other words, Saigon Hookers are more, better, faster, now!

Oh, and if anybody asks you "What do Saigon Hookers sound like?", tell 'emSaigon Hookers play the kind of rock n' roll your mom used to listen to before she got hooked on disco and started blowing doormen for coke at Studio 54.
