biographical info

Szkieve (pronounced s-kee-vh) is Dimitri della Faille, founder of Disques Hushush. Born and raised Belgian and living in Montréal, Dimitri is currently working on his PhD thesis in Political Sociology. During his graduate studies he visited several universities in Argentina, Belgium, Canada and the United States as a student or a scholar. Other than his debut album on Disques Hushush, noticeable is also his collaboration to the Martiens Go Home "Une occasion de chute" CD and split picture disc with Ammo "Perturbacée/Terra Amata". Szkieve collaborated with Montréal’s Vromb on a 7" vinyl "Le pavillon des oiseaux/Le monorail". By the way, Szkieve is actually a mispelled equivalent for the word "Skew" in the Brussels’ dialect.
