artist Sueisfine

The conception of Sueisfine occured in the summer of 2000 in Thunder Bay. Starting out as a trio of guitar (vocals), bass guitar and drums is the offspring of three unique groups-SIC TRANSIT GLORIA, SKIELAUB,and SOLACE. Sueisfine started out with Ray Smith on drums, Craig Delin on bass guitar and Darren Foley on guitar and vocals. Their sound was eventually expanded by Todd Williamson on guitar, Len Wallace on keyboards and Chris Roy on percussion & and trusty saw! Sueisfine is best described as a unique flow of ambient guitar meshed with melodious bass and drums, sound effects and some dream pop for good measure.... but all agree that any instrument can be used in this 6 piece band! The band strives to achieve a certain level of transcendence in it's live performances. Drawing upon varying influnces such as-Mogwai, The Verve, Eric's Trip, Pink Floyd, Yo Le Tango, My Bloody Valentine, Ganger, Dinosaur Jr., Sueisfine crafts a mosiac of music that touches on moments of intense silence, to creations of sounds unique and compelling to the human ear! The group has performed with indie acts such as -THE DEARS, STARS, BROKEN SOCIAL SCENE, MONEEN, A NORTHERN CHORUS, TRICKY WOO, GHOST OF MODERN MAN, BY DIVINE RIGHT, RUSTY, CHANGE OF HEART, REEL AUDIO WAVE TRANSFER, CLOSED CAPTION RADIO, KILLJOYS, TRISTAN PSIONIC, CROOKED FINGERS, SOUTH PACIFIC, KING KOBB STEELIE, ERIC'S TRIP, ELEVATOR (formerly ELEVATOR TO HELL)
