biographical info
The story of SFO is only interesting perhaps as a cautionary tale. Being in the band I can now look back and inspect what happened from the learned viewpoint of a "survivor", gaining insight into how not to function as a band as well as how not to behave as a human being. Living quite destructively with a thin veil of normal behaviour masking true intent, it is little wonder that SFO ended as it did back in 2001, a flurry of cursing, splintered instruments and the like. THIS WAS NOT A PUNK BAND. We were (and still are) pacifists at heart, so when things got too heavy we simply quit. It was the healthy thing to do. Since then, good things (and some bad things) have been happening. We've ushered in a new era of musical aloofness and now seem intent on simultaneously learning from and dismissing our past.
