biographical info
silent seymour have been keeping very busy since they entered the studio to record their debut EP "Rocket to Regina". The band has played consistent sold out shows in Toronto clubs to fund the project and have had radio play for their track "its about time" on airwaves as diverse as Poland and New York City. After playing together since high school silent seymour have evolved into one of Toronto's most impressive up and coming indie bands. Described as shoegazer influenced with semi pop undertones, silent seymour have developed a unique style of rock characterized by layers of sound building upon each other to paint a dynamic musical landscape. Based in Toronto, silent seymour are on the verge of making their mark on the explosive independent music scene. Already proving their ability to draw crowds at some of the city's most key locals. Comprised of Greg Serpanchy (bass), Daniel Cannistra (drums), Josef Thomas (vocals, guitar), and Patrick Antonik (guitar, keyboards), silent seymour have proven that a very sincere love of music and hard work are the essential ingredients to creating their signature sound. Education and world travel have given the guys enough food for thought to write the music they write, and their love of music creates a camaraderie that shines through on stage and outpours into the crowd. They know how to play their music without taking themselves too seriously.
