biographical info

Craig Thompson - Joey Meyer - Zak Hanna - John Kremer shut-in thrives in the post-punk/blues thrash/art disco tradition where polyrhythms interlock with euphoric guitars and raw vocals for an exhilarating sound. Together ten months, a dozen live shows, released first EP, U.S. tour in September 2002. Two players were in Pecola, underground math-rock pioneers. February 2002, the band recorded its debut, “Would Never Hope Happen” (Kosher Rock Records, KRS0008), with producer Jeff McMurrich (Picastro, Rockets Red Glare, Danko Jones) in Toronto with Josh McCoppen (Shut-in’s first drummer).
