Yo, yo, yo, yes, yes, what? I just got a haircut and he cut off too much. I was trying to tell him "nothing off the top" but I couldn't find an opening. He kept ranting and ranting and I just couldnt find room to squeeze in my request. He's this old greek cat up in Little Korea. Always has a whole lot to say. Unfortunately I can hardly understand him, so I spend most the time just trying to smile and nod. I like him tho. He cracks me up when I do understand, ya know? So that's the day so far.
What else? I got a gig tonite @ El Mo, here in Toronto. Full band styles. Should be good times. We were out in St Catherines the other day to play a gig for the COCA conference. That's the ppl from colleges and Universities across Canada who book acts to come play their schools. We drove out there and spent the day chillin'. We had a quick soundchek around 3pm and our set time wasn't until 9 30pm, so we spent the day playin baseball in the park and chillin' at the beach. Also found some patios to sip soda, etc. Just a real chill day. Show was packed. Real cool vibe.
Wednesday, the Barracudas had a double header and won both games. I popped a dinger to take the lead in the Home Run challenge. The winner gets a case of beer from every loser, so I'm gonna end up with about 125 beers in a few weeks, 'cause I'm winnin' this thing! Go 'Cudas!
What else? Cachia was over last nite. We chilled on the front porch, chattin' 'bout nothin' much, sippin on brew. It's a leisurely life, ya know.
I pulled out the 'ol video camera and made a vid for Becoming Strangers featuring my alter ego, Chip Reynolds. Check it out here!
All is well.
