I am Ron Loutit ten of twelve we all learned to play music both guitar and piano,not all of us kept it up though. Half of us play a few more instruments than that. I seem to be the only one that writes and plays his own music,I have hundreds of songs writen.Some of my family have written a few realy good tunes but they haven't spent the time on it like me, for me it's my sanity.
I was nominated country CD of the year in 2007 for the National Aboriginal Peoples Choice Awards along with Shayne Yellowbird,we know who one that one.Then again I was nominated for best country CD and songwriter of the year 2008,next time it's mine. Working on finishing my second CD right now, should be competed in early spring 2010.
I love music and I wouldn't have it any other way except maybe making a little more money so I wouldn't have to go to a regular 8 hour a day job that would be a perfect world.
I live in Locport a stones throw from the Bridge and a stagger from the Red River.When I need a break I walk across the Road with a sachel of brewskis and a fishing rod a proceed to catch nothing but sunlight.We've been in Locport on this property for 176 years so we are on the old deed which means I can sit on the river bank and drink a couple without breaking the law....sweeeeet.
