biographical info
I write and record music. I started doing it in hardcore bands in the mid 80's. In 1990 me and my best friends girl started a band called Eric's Trip as well as a relationship. The band grew in popularity and put out albums on subpop records until 1996, but since it was all based on our young love, the band disolved along with the rest. The drummer and i became heads and continued making records and touring as ELEVATOR after i released a solo album called Elevator to Hell. I married the bass player Love Tara and three of us got further and further out until we sort of imploded in 2003 with our AUGUST album. I made an grim but beautiful album with Greg Keelor and the SADIES while in the dark rut. It is called the UNINTENDED. Since all that i've moved off to become a hermit in the country but since i've always used music as a diary, i still write and record all the time. I release albums now as RickWhiteAlbum and have just put out my 2nd called MEMOREAPER on the friend operated BlueFogRecordings.
