Comparisons to Pete Seeger and David Francey are frequently made, and he has opened for Juno Award nominee Craig Cardiff and Juno Award Winning Old Man Luedecke. He has released four self-produced albums, has gone on four Canadian tours, and two tours around Ontario entirely via bicycle!”

“To Create” is the story of a hopeful young man driven to build community through collaboration and sharing art. The album flows like a musical story moving from upbeat playful songs and catchy ukulele pop melodies, to foot-stomping and heartfelt bare-bone folk tunes, to warm banjo-driven instrumentals. “To Create” was recorded mostly live-off-the-floor at The Sound Distillery to capture the quirky and fun energy of Richard's writing and performance.
