From such disparate places as Truro, Nova Scotia; Cochrane and Calgary, Alberta; Winnipeg; and Chemainus, B.C, Remote Kid is based in Calgary and plays the compositions of Cam May, Lara White, Sandy Barron, and Heather Robertson. A live off the floor basement ep is in the works, as is a full-length record that has gelled for a few years in various stages and heroically attempts to blend sugar pop with folk music and rock music with electronica.
