biographical info
There are many facets to the music of Tim Horlor, aka Recordface.
From very humble beginning in Southwestern Ontario, playing with
highschool friends in various rock/metal/punk & electronic bands,
to his ever growing fascination with the world of sound and sound
engineering. All of which led to his relocation to Montreal, Quebec to
play & record with post-rock/instrumental band "janefondorb".
Later moving more in to the realm of beat making and electronic
based music, he discovered his true calling for production beginning
with works from Jon Juan to B Green and a virtual unknown at the time named Shad.
While working with Jon Juan, a collaboration presented itself which led to the reunion with childhood friend, Ryan Somers aka Fritz the Cat.
Fritz known through out music scenes for his 'zine,"In Search of the
Divine Styler" and Vice magazine's "Beats and Rhymes" , along with
bringing various big name artist and shows to Canada.
After realizing the potential from their first efforts togther and a great bond between the two, the rap unit known as OK Cobra
was founded. With moderate success due to the releasing of 2 full
length albums via URBNET records(2006 self-titled release & 2009
delirium tremens) and a free online EP (the D.T.'s, volume one) plus
tours in both Canada & Europe, Recordface has returned to his solo
