biographical info
Thanks for visiting my site, right now its under construction, but check back soon for music, pictures, and other information! I'm afraid as of yet there isn't all that much to write in a biography about myself. How sad is that! But I'm hopeful that at some point in the future there will be a mighty impressive biography on this page. So, for now, I'll do my best. I hail from a little city with an unfortunate name - Regina, Saskatchewan. And yes, I'm aware that "we all come from one of those!" You don't know how many times I've heard that joke. Anyway, Regina treated me well as a youngin' - I even got to hone my jazz hand skills by performing as a singer in the cast of a touring musical theatre company, the Saskatchewan Express, for a few summers in my teenage years. That lasted until roughly the end of high school, at which point I decided to move on from that experience, in the search of bigger and better performance opportunities...and I'm still searching! Oh, that makes me sound so sad...but in reality it's been quite a journey over these last few years. I moved to Vancouver for a little while, did some music but never quite enough, with University slowly dominating my life. However, I'm happy to say that I'm seriously debating becoming a University dropout in the pursuit of the good life (a.k.a. doing some music,) much to my parents chagrin. Anyway, so after an interesting series of events this summer I made my way back to Regina, and back to my music. Now the ball is rolling! Michael Paul, my new extraordinary guitar player, and I met up in the last few months, and our collaboration has breathed new life into my music. I've also been experimenting in co-writing with a slew of great artists. Hopefully some recordings will materialize in the near future - unfortunately with a budget of $0 my options are limited, but Michael's basement seems like as good of a place as any to do some recording! In the end, for me, it's all about the music anyway - playing it and enjoying it. Michael and I have been doing more and more shows - let me tell you, we're becoming very good and entertaining ourselves while being the 'background' music! But I figure, you've got to put in your time. Anyway, like I said now that the ball is rolling, hopefully some better recordings and pictures, etc. will become a reality, and we'll continue making music and being happy! So please keep checking back to see our progress, come and check out shows if you can, and if you know anyone who might want to book a quirky set of musicians who giggle a bit too much during shows, be in touch!
