biographical info
Celebrating Canadian heroines and housewives, whether it be Évangéline’s story of the Acadian people in 1755; the 8'-tall tale of Canadian Giantess, Anna Swan in the Victorian Era; or the story of her mother, Greta’s courageous battle with Polio in 1951, Rosalee’s songs weave a poetic, often female perspective of Canadian history, transporting listeners by poignantly connecting the present with the past. 2002 & 2004 Dr. Helen Creighton Folklore Research Award recipient, Rosalee is a graduate of Mount Allison University, The Banff School of Fine Arts and Bill Vincent’s Voices & Company vocal music programs.
