biographical info
RECEIVINGEND began in 2001 while REGC was experimentally recording feedback into his computer through a microphone > effects pedal / drum machine > distortion pedal > guitar amp > bass amp > computer sequence. This discovery of self-generated noise spoke to REGC. It told him to take this new mayhem and add it to the noise he'd been making with a PC. The volume increased quickly and REGC released six tracks on mp3.com under the name RECEIVINGEND. These tracks were then remastered and released on the 2002 handmade limited edition cd "antenna broken". In early 2003 he began working on the horror movie soundtrack, the "diekültur EP", and released the handmade limited CD in the fall of 2003. After performing live a few times in Winnipeg and switching platforms and machines he started using Abelton's Live and Apple's GarageBand along with a Korg EM-1 and the continued use of feedback mayhem to continue the abuse to the RECEIVINGEND.
