biographical info

Established in 2003, Policies and Procedures have never ceased creating their own brand of unapologetic, punk-influenced pop-rock.

With a strong focus on songwriting, harmony, and hooks, they allow their grittier and more raw elements to flourish in other areas such

as their hard-hitting and high-energy live show. After many self-released demos and EPs over the past four years, they have finally settled

into a distinct and well-honed sound which remains gimmick-free, and as honest as it is accessible.

Combining the tenacity of early pop-punk with both classic and modern influences, the band settles somewhere near the middle,

and the end result aims to please fans from all crowds, and allows them to share the stage with acts as diverse as;

The Dears, Alexisonfire, Death From Above 1979, and BoysNightOut, just to name a few.

With slots on festival staples in the past including: NXNE, SCENE MUSIC FESTIVAL, CMW, CHICAGO'S POP OVERTHROW FESTIVAL, and WARPED TOUR, Policies and Procedures are making every effort to bring their craft to the masses, and the masses are beginning to take notice.

2007 marks a big year for the band with their debut full-length LP entitled: "THE CITY BURNS" being released in the first quarter. The record is being released on Toronto indie label "Affluence Music Group" and was produced, mixed, and engineered by Scott Komer. (BoysNightOut, Protest the Hero, The Pettit Project).
