Hi Canada,

Just a quick update PS is playing on Saturday April 18th @ the Railway Clun in Vancouver.  We will be performing with the talented Sean Ashby, who is returning to Vancouver in the middle of a 40 date Canadian tour!  PS will be playing brand spanking new songs, so new we may not even know what we're doing or probably  just making it up as we go!!!  New record is on its way to being recorded and we cannot wait for you to hear it!  Hope to see you out on the 18th!  More deets to come!  Loves, PS

Hi if anyone happens upon this and is interested, Pepper Sands has a show on Thursday March 13th in Vancouver at the Backstage Lounge.  All the info should be on our main page if you want to come down...Hopefully some of you will...it can get frustrating playing the same venues in the same city over and over but we believe in what we do and we want to hit the road sometime soon and travel across this beautiful country of ours again...so we're gonna keep on it...check out the record its up on iTunes and Cdbaby.com, if you go to either of those sites you can listen to the songs for free no commitment, then maybe send us an email and let us know what you think, it would be nice not to exist entirely in our own vaccum...so if anyone is interested lets try to create some kind of back and forth a connection that starts with music, one thing I know you must love because you are reading this on this site.  Maybe we'll see you Thursday...hugs and kisses PS

Hey whoever is or might be reading this, Adam from Pepper Sands here just wanting to say hey.  I think Summertime is almost here, yes, Summertime,  just like the old Fresh Prince song, a time of year where fun and promise lie around every bend.  When BBQs are a plenty, even for our vegan friends (you can put anything on the ol' habachi), and music music music is everywhere.  This summer promises to be a doozy when it comes to new albums to add to your collection.  Interpol, Rooney, Spoon, Ryan Adams, I already picked up Pride Tiger, and the White Stripes, as well as the Queens of the Stone Age.  I've also already got a small pile of concert tix on my bedside table which promises to get much bigger soon.  Ryan Adams at the end of July here in Vancouver as well as a fun Canada Day with Band of Horses at Richards on Richards.  Hopefully I'll see some of you out at some of these shows and many others as the Pepper Sands and Earlstown Winter both have a few up their respective pop and country-ish sleeves.  So lets all soak it upo Its going to be a good one...

Hey Everyone...just a quick thanks to all th people in Vancouver that came out to our CD Release party last Saturday at the Railway...it was a really fun night and great to be able to hang out with everyone...I wanted to post a blog tonight regarding how amazed I feel to be in Canada right now with seriously the best bands in the world...strolling around on this website is certainly eyeopening...its not just the Broken Social Scenes and The Dears (ie. the bands you already know about) but for everyone of them you also get great bands that you haven't heard of yet (I'm looking at you Junior Major)...so I'm sure that if you are reading this on here you already know what I'm on about...just make sure you tell everyone else...Pepper Sands new album 'Forest Strays' has been sent out o your local College Radio Station so if you did the songs on here maybe give them a cal and ask them to play one of ours for you...also, soon you will be able to buy the album online at CDBABY.com, we'll let you know when...anyway thats more than enough spelling mistakes and bad grammer for one night...more news to come...luv,ps

Spring in Vancouver.  Its nice to feel the warm sun on your shoulders, see the cherry blossoms in the trees and the optimism that you might not have to see the dreary clouds and rain for awhile.  Pepper Sands are taking advantage of this amazing time of year by putting out a new collection of songs called 'Forest Strays'.  Its been awhile since the band put out a record, 2002 to be exact, but the time feels right.  Pepper Sands has always kept growing and evolving as players and songwriters and the new album feels fresh and alive and the band is more excited about it than ever.  We cannot wait to share it with you.  'Forest Strays' out soon...
