artist Pat the White Band

Patrick Leblanc (Pat The White) is an award winning Blues/Rock Jam Band from Gaspe, Canada.

Pat achieved “Headline Status” in his home province of Quebec and started garnering national attention back in 2003 when the Montreal Blues Society awarded him the “Best Live Performance” in 2003 & 2004.

In 2005 Pat was nominated for a “Maple Blues Award” for “Best New Artist in Canada”.

In 2007 Pat’s 2nd release “Reviver” was awarded the Montreal Blues Society’s “Album of The Year” and he also claimed “Best songwriter”. “Reviver” was re-issued in Europe through Dixie Frog records as “The Quebec City Sessions” and was picked up for distribution in Japan through BSMF records. The band was showcased at the NXNE and performed on Canada Day at a huge outdoor event at Downsview Park, Toronto.

In 2008 Pat’s popularity in Europe really began to take off, He toured France 3 times to support the “Quebec City Sessions”, Gibson Guitars featured Pat on its official myspace and in the Fall the band headed to Georgia & Florida, for a series of shows to support “Reviver” which is now available through the Allman Brothers Band’s official retail outlet “Hittin’ The Note”.

In 2009, Pat The White continued touring Europe, PTW was the house band for an allstar event to commemorate Gaspe, Quebec’s 475th birthday. Pat signed a sponsorship agreement with Sennheiser Canada for microphones and began composing new material to follow up the award winning album “Reviver”.

2010 is a huge year for the PTW Band, he released his new ROCK album "Strange Fascination" They were listening to alot of "Black Keys" and "Gov't Mule" and you can hear the influence on the album.
