PRIMORDIAL NATURE
Known on the West Coast for incendiary live electronic performances, this versatile Vancouver artist is now ready to take on new textures, forms, and structures – and reassemble them with the fury of a dub technician gone wild. A sophisticated underground sound is the focus; driving polyrhythmic techno and dubbed-out flows vie for dominance.
He has headlined with such legendary international talent as Carl Cox, Derrick May, and Mark Farina.
His prolific studio output has led to collaborations with many West Coast luminaries, such as: Daniel of Moontribe; DJ Czech; Rennie “Dubnut” Foster; Kinnie Starr; and Third Eye Tribe. Remixes have been completed for Ekko, Green Room, Jeet K. da Tripmaster, Betacarotine.
His debut full-length as the Sci-Fi Witch Doctor, “Enter the Now,” was released on Phatt Phunk Records in 1999, and was met with resounding critical acclaim.
