biographical info

Plasticine is the brainchild of two singer/songwriter/guitar players: Rob Szabo and Steve Strongman. After a false start under the name Marigold, the duo recruit Adam Bushclen (bass) and Roger Travassos (drums)and it feels like home. With a full album’s worth of material already in the can, the group record a few new songs to add to the existing tracks. The album is now complete. The album is embraced immediately by College/Community radio across Canada. Reviews in the press nation-wide are raves. The new band’s live show proves to be disarming ... people are charmed, entertained, moved. The group find themselves looking at each other in disbelief ... The reaction is overwhelming. The Video/Single "No One" gets extensive play on Much Music and the band embarks on an Ontario/Western Canada tour in July 2000. Expect to see intensive touring in Ontario throughout the year and showcases at many of the major music industry events nationally and in the US.
