Born and raised in Barrie, Ontario, Canada. Inspired by his father a performer in choral choirs
and further influenced by R&B groups like Bel Biv Devoe, Boyz II Men and Jodeci. P.J. Willson started singing at the age of 13. In 2003-2005 PJ started honing his solo craft with producer Dave Thompson and accomplished musician and Remix producer. (High Holy day, HalfaHalo and Leslie Carter.) Between 2005 and 2007 PJ took time to write and perform. Still relatively unknown in 2007/2008 PJ worked with accomplished producers, Marcus Kane(Gary Beals, Suni Clay and Snow) In 2009 and again in 2011 PJ worked with Producer Chris Perry (Shawn Desman. Keshia Chante and George). After compiling a body of work with significant production quality, on july 4th 2011, PJ Wilson, released his first three-track E.P. titled “Preface.” With his first single “Whats on your mind”. The E.P. will encompass songs that highlight the type of artist he is. In his songs you'll find creative lyrics that
illustrate positive portraits about the subject matter in question. The material focuses on relationships, love, and men and women getting to know each other. His message is one of mutual respect and harmony for all. In 2011 PJ Wilson is poised to leave his mark on the Canadian music scene with a signature Pop RnB sound.
