biographical info

Peter Burdon was born in Gillingham, England, in 1979 to English parents; his father was raised in Kent, and his mother was raised in Newcastle-upon-Tyne. His Family moved to Toronto, Canada, in 1982 when his older brother George was injured early on in the Falkand Islands War. In Canada, Peter was experienced to the youth culture of Toronto in the very late 1980's and early-to-mid 1990's. He spent much of his youth on Queen Street in places like the Horseshoe Tavern, and the Rivoli, and other pubs such as C'est What and the Red Lantern (lest we forget the Green Room). Peter became an avid Torontonian and saw local acts such as a maturing Kids In The Hall. He attended Crescent School until his graduation in 1997, at which point he joined the self described "art-rock-fart-pop" band The Annex, playing guitars and keyboards. Since then, he has spent much time abroad and recently returned "home" to do solo work.
