PARKSIDE JONES' mix of singer-songwriter influences with spontaneous instrumental explosions give the sound that has placed it on stages with notable acts such as Maceo Parker, Blue Rodeo, Big Sugar, and the New Deal. With tons of live experience and a successful independent CD “Mind the Gap”, Parkside Jones continues to move forward with original material that move peoples’ minds and bodies. Its line-up of 5 members keeps Parkside’s tradition of tight grooves, while "moving from P-Funk to a more experimental pop musicianship”.
