artist Oh no, Theodore!

Hey guys, Sorry its been a little while since we've gotten to you with any news, but here is whats been going on as of late!Our June tour is about 50% booked! Check our tour dates section of the website or our myspace (www.myspace.com/ohnotheodore). We're so stoked to be playing shows with Hungry Hearts on the road, I'm sure its going to be the smelliest and most outlandish thing we've ever been apart of. Alethea is overjoyed.

Recording for our new album "We're all underachieving" is almost completed! I (Jeremy) just finished the main vocals last night and all that is left to do is the harmonies and a bit of strings, THEN WE HAVE OURSELVES AN ALBUM BEBEH'S! Sorry for the little outburst... But it seems as though this process has taken ages, but it's almost completed and ready to be mixed and mastered. Which should take about another month and a half or two months. Look for the album to be out May 28th or around there.. Artwork for the album is on its way as well. We promise, you will not be let down.

That's about all the news we have for you as of now, but make sure to keep checking in for more updates! And we're playing Last Class Bash at the Cellar Bar in Fredericton with the Belle Comedians and Owen Steel so make sure you pop by to catch it. The Belle Comedians (www.myspace.com/thebellecomedians) have released a new EP as of late and if you have time give it a listen, its pretty rocking.

Halifax & Friends

Updates! So we’re playing Gus’ Pub tonight in Halifax with our friends in Total Camble Experience and Quiet Parade! If you’re in the Halifax area tonight be sure to stop on by. We’re headlining tonight so we’ll be on last so make sure you stick around and hear our new set! We’re been doing a ton of rearranging to our songs and we know you’ll all be floored with the new sound.

Jeremy will even be playing an ACOUSTIC GUITAR! Imagine that… Everything sounds so much more clean and purrrty. The love songs now really sound like love songs, and the hate songs are that much more hateful. You’ll see! You’ll hear! Jake will be pounding out the bass licks, and Aaron will even be behind an entire kit. This show is going to be immense so we hope you can all make it.

Other news, Jeremy McLaughlin from Oh No, Theodore is going to be filling in for Jake Sullivan of the Hungry Hearts (www.myspace.com/hungryheartsrock) in St. Andrews at the Red Herring Friday night, and in Halifax at the Seahorse Friday night (w/ Alert the Medic – Show starts at 11:00pm). So if you’re around any of those areas to catch the shows be sure to come out and watch him completely destroy the Hearts set. Its going to be a throwdown hoedown.

Also, if you haven’t seen yet our friend Rodney Mann ( IniT Productions) did a little bit of filming for us and we threw together a little music video for our song “Theodore the Monster”. It has Lukas ( Cellist ) and a buddy of ours ( GREV! ) running around and fighting each other over a woman they both love… which is actually Luke’s lover in real life. Watch Grev level Luke!

GET STOKED

So, in case you’ve been wondering what we’ve been up to as of late, here is a little update..

We’re playing the ECMA’s this year in Charlotte town! Weooooow! We’ll be taking over the discovery stage April 14th at 12:00pm Noon! If you’re around the area it would be great to see some people there for our set, if not, we understand. Because afterall, the ECMA’s is usually a big party and there are tons of things to see and do, so get out there and do them all.

We’re playing the return of the Dali painting here in Fredericton NB at the Beaverbrook art gallery. That’s pretty big news. Its a masquerade event, so if you’re around grab yourself a ticket ($30) and bring your mask because its going to be a good time. OR, if you don’t have enough money for that and you live in the Saint John area, you’re in luck. We’re playing that same night (Feb 19th) at Peppers Pub in Saint John. Its going to be an electric set so bring your drinking faces and party hats because we’re looking to have some fun.

Hmmm.. What else do we have for you… OH YEAH! We’re almost finished tracking our brand new album! The release date is still up in the air but what we can tell you is that it will be out sometime late May. The album name is still up in the air as well. But we’ll let you all know the greasy ol’ details in due time. We will be re-releasing a few tracks off of our old Self titled debut.. But we’re not telling. We’ll be releasing the track listing in another month, but until then just know that everything is sounding fantasssstic, and everyone at in Oh No, Theodore! and Kempt Productions is super stoked on the project. SO GET STOKED!

And last but not least, talks of a NB-ONT tour in are the works at this point in time. Not a whole lot of details to be released as of yet, but when everything is confirmed you better believe that we’ll be letting you all know so you can come harass our sorry behinds at the shows.
