Öliumm is a "one man" group based in Edmonton, Canada. With a unique charm, Öliumm's work could be profiled as an experimental/trip hop/ambient band.
His first album entitled "Global" was composed in Argentina in 1999.
Öliumm also composed & released 2 cds in Canada (The life beneath 2001 & Diversa 2002) and performed alongside the very best exponents of the Canadian underground electronica scene.
Soon to be released, "Odessa's Hail" (wich could be described as explorative ambiental trip hop) is Öliumm's latest work and features collaborations from a handful of gifted female artists - Swedish mezzo Caroline Rundqvist, Spanish singer Elena Martinez Izquierdo, Montreal based writer Emma Couturier, Icelandic glamour vocalist Anna Jona Aðalsteinsdottir among others.
Öliumm's work also includes scores for 2 animated films, "Drawing Conclusions" (2003) & "Prison"(2004); both directed by Spanish filmmaker Adolfo Ruiz.
In response to an unusual wave of "summer" ideas, Öliumm is currently working in studio towards a new album & developing ideas for yet another short film.
