biographical info
Oh hey I didn't see you there. My name is Ryan Shimizu. I am the Midnight Harvester. I'm 19. I write mainly folk and bluegrass music. I play guitar, banjo, harmonica, charango, spoons, cowbell and basketball. I record in my room with the cheapest mixer I could find and a just as cheap mic. Besides the poor quality recordings, I have a good few other unrecorded songs. Folk it.
I am the harvester,
The collector,
The gatherer of man,
The darker heavy,
Drinking from the Cobaea.
Within the torrid harem,
Cradled in the arid caisson
Of mine are
Baying men.
I, rooted into the black moss
and fleshy throne,
Groom the horned
brassbound crown I possess.
With clad cloven feet,
I canter from my stony sleep.
The ephemeral sun, I frighten.
The ebbing moon, I trifle.
I am the harvester,
The collector,
The gatherer of man,
The darker heavy,
Drinking from the Cobaea.
