METAMORPHOSE:

Built on a bedrock of solid bass and drums, intoxicating melodies, powerful harmonies, edgy guitar riffs and luscious keyboard arrangements - this multi-textured soundscape incorporates a strong mix of current and classic music genres with a hint of Afro-Cuban, Brazilian and West African grooves making it a rhythmical delight perfect for dancers and listeners alike.

With the creation of the musical genre 'message music', Metamorphoses' lyrical content is both relatable and relevant to the issues facing our world and each other as individuals today. Songs like Shed Your Skin, Possible, Borders,Interplanetary Debris and 10,000 Angels offer positive insightful lyrics and funky infectious grooves.

Undoubtedly fantastic festival music, Metamorphose attracts an audience that is both multi cultural and cross generational. With influences such as Peter Gabriel, The Police,Salif Keita,The Beatles and David Bowie, this group is sure to deliver.

ARRON NELSON:

Arron Nelson was born into an amazing musically talented family. His parents were  musicians that played Folk music concerts and coffee houses with many different artists in the 1960's.

Growing up with all that music around him gave Arron an insatiable hunger for music. He inevitably quenched his thirst by picking up the electric Bass, which was a perfect fit for the family jams.

With both of his brothers playing drums, and guitars respectively, and his parents playing banjo, accordion, and guitar, the family band was complete.

After Arron started playing Bass he instantly knew he was destined to be a musician.

Arron started playing in many different groups through out the 80's,90's,but in the new millennium Arron took his music to a higher elevation by composing his own music, and releasing an album under the name the Arron Nelson Project.

Arron has taken all these experiences and has become an incredible singer-songwriter and now plays all the instruments from the family band.

By using voice, bass, guitar, banjo, keyboards, drums, and percussion as his writing tools Arron's been able to create a vast range of styles that span several different genres.

Arron's talent for song writing and his proficient instrument playing gives him the ability to weave beautiful melody's within the rhythmical fabric of a song.

With the ability to create music comes the responsibility to send out a positive message, and Arron Nelson  has a beautiful message to share.

STEVEN PARISH:

Steven J. Parish began drumming at an early age. By the time he was 17 he was studying privately with jazz great Frankie Dunlop and being mentored by the legendary Les Paul. Both of these experiences continue to influence his musical ideas.

Fusion with Mike Stern; Rock 'n' Roll with “Smokin' In the Boys Room” icon Cub Koda, Blues with Ellen McIllwayne, Free Improvisation with Anthony Braxton and Performance Art with the ground breaking Fluxus.

Taken as a whole these experiences have helped Mr. Parish interweave a myriad of styles into a musically dynamic, distinctive and personal voice. In the words of Anthony Braxton, Steven’s playing is “Sensitive man, sensitive.”

We've given birth to 9 more beauties, studio work has begun and we're looking at a spring 2012 release. Get ready for some relaxed intensity. Thanks for all the support you have given us during our musical hiatus. It feels really good to jump back on the band wagon.
