Matthew Hare is a singer songwriter from St. John's, Newfoundland who has been making a name for himself around the local music scene for over 10 years. After playing for years with his old band, The Rents, he has finally struck out on his own and released his first professional solo recording. Recorded with the help of local musicians Jerry Stamp and Ian Foster, "This Time Last Year" is a bottling of Hare's energetic, emotional, and frenetic live performances.
