Matt Groopie is a singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist/dj and producer from Thornhill Ontario Canada. At the young age of 25 he has already released 9 records as an indie artist and sold over 10,000 copies off the side of the stage, was featured in a documentary at TIFF 2009 as well as having songs being featured in upcoming tv and movie projects. In addition, he has appeared on radio and television countless times and enjoyed radio play with his last single "Teenage Love Affair". He has toured and played over 1500 shows in Canada with 2012 looking to be his busiest year yet with the release of his new album "Hold On" at this years Canadian Music Week 2012 in March (which is held in Toronto), and a tour of Canada scheduled, as well as upcoming records and shows with King Beez and The Bandits.
Aside from his many musical accomplishments, Matt Groopie is involved in many charitable organizations and has put on countless benefits for Sick Kids Foundation, Lupus Ontario, Red Cross, Daily Bread Food Bank and World Vision to name a few.
