Since the age of 14 Mat has been mixing , skratching and making mixes - beats , spanning many genres and styles but always having one thing in common - heavy beats and basslines. It all started after hearing the electronic sounds being played in the warehouse partys around the northwest of england in 88. In 1995 mat moved to whistler Canada to pursue his new addiction of snowboarding and being in the mountains.
Described by Knowledge Magazine as 'awe-inspiring' & 'some next level shit.' Mat's music selection appeals to a wide variety of crowds, spanning many genres. He learned this from performing in Whistler to varied crowds of people visiting from all over the world.
Mat has toured across the globe and performed in 14 countries from Asia to Moscow at events like the US Supercross , olympic Games Torino ,X Games to many of canada largest festivals of up to 15,000 people, pioneering club nights in Whistler & Vancouver and held down a bi-weekly clubnight in Las Vegas at Eye Candy (Mandalay Bay).
His 2002 C1RCA Presents Knowledge Magazine Mix CD, showcased his ability to blend several styles of music seamlessly - over 100,000 copies of the CD were distributed worldwide, to critical and popular acclaim. The follow up was C1RCA Presents C1pher 2004 which also featured DJ Dopey, the 2003 World DMC Champion and made big waves throughout the global DJ community.

Mats music and remixes are coming fast and furious out of the Alien camp and have been featured on Compilations , T.V. shows , dvds and webisodes . Remixes for Nick Thayer, South Rakkas, Loon, and having his original tune “Lazerbass (ft. Mc Emotionz”) included on the first release from Western Canadian labels Emergency Broadcast System have all been released to positive feedback from some of the industry’s biggest names
Now also touring with his video/DJ set, he is taking the solo DJ act to new heights, getting party moving moving by hitting all of their senses with custom remix and video edits .
